Following on from his acclaimed collaboration with Rex The Dog, Kris Menace teams up with Adam Shaw to deliver the next release on his own Compuphonic label, the Starchild EP released 5th December.

One of the most highly regarded and versatile producers around today Kris’ releases, such as Discopolis, Lumberjack (with Alan Braxe) and Jupiter have shown himself equally adept at producing everything from techno, disco, electro and house.

Spacey tech-house of the highest order, Starchild is one of those tracks that just builds and builds, Kris and Adam allowing the track the time to develop, before it explodes into life like an unstoppable supernova. Big without being bombastic, Starchild is a masterclass in how to produce music that will work in sweaty underground basements and at massive raves under open skies.

If Starchild reaches for the heavens, Maschine is much more visceral. Make no mistake this is solid heads down, jacking house music designed to get bodies moving. With the focus solidly on the bass line, which evolves from a throbbing disco pulse into an overdriven buzzsawing beast, this is music you feel as much as hear.
