SCRYEL:

Bojan Trifunovic, was born on 20th of June 1986 in Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. His first encounter with trance music was at the age of 13 and it was his older brother’s fault for introducing him to it. At first, he wasn't really impressed by that sound, but later with everyday listening and paying more attention to the deeper sense of this particular music, it became an indispensable part of his life. In a moment, he was stunned by its complexity and emotions, involved in this genre. Only listening to the music was not enough for him, so he decided to produce his own tracks, starting with the production software called Reason. But soon, he realized that it would be harder than he thought, which resulted some promising melodies, that were never finished, because of his perfectionism - he wanted to sound just like the big producers of that time. The next step was to take his chances with DJing and has been a fan of it since the very first day and from then on his technical knowledge has been improving every day. Then another important event marked his life, when he met his DJ partner and a very good friend Marko Pongrac.

SEMIREAL:

Marko Pongrac, was born on 18th of May 1993 in Ljubljana. It all started with dance music at the age of 10. A year later, he got in touch with DJ software called Virtual DJ. After several hours spent with this program, he knew that this is what he wants to do in his life. Soon he realized that he needs more than ordinary dance music could offer him. For the next two years, he just listened to other types of music, trying to find a perfect match for his needs. This is where Bojan Trifunovic came into play, presenting him the magical world of trance. Surprised by the fullness, emotions and the harmony of sound, he noticed that this is the type of music he was looking for. In the year 2007, he bought his first mixer and a pair of CD players, starting to practice the art of DJing, which took a lot of time to develop some real skill. In the middle of 2007, he tried himself in production as well, using FL Studio. He started to know trance more from a producer perspective and also began to explore the inner structure of it. During the next year, he experimented with different sounds which gave him the knowledge to produce his first track called "Talk To Me". In the beginning of 2009, this track was played in front of the live audience and got a fine response from it. Later that year, after some cooperation with Bojan Trifunovic, they started to spend more time together and felt a connection between them, deciding it would be better to continue their musical career as a duo called Semireal & Scryel.

SEMIREAL & SCRYEL:

As working together, their first big project was the launch of their own radio show called Unity Sessions, primary hosted on radio Koma. During the residence on that radio, they presented themselves as a duo for the first time and got the experience, needed to accept further challenges. Later on, a new opportunity showed up. They were accepted to host their show on the biggest web radio in Slovenia, radio Partis. The response has been better than they expected and got various compliments from the listeners. With this show they slowly gained reputation among other Slovenian DJs and soon got their first live act at the Club Impulz in Maribor (Slovenia) with Slovenia's most known trance DJ, Elyksir. The response to their driving style was applauding and from then on, their career as DJs has been growing. After a while, they got other offers to play at some upcoming events, which will take part in the near future. The next step was to bring their radio show to the international level, where they started to cooperate with Trancesonic.fm.
