Born on September the 3rd 1982 in Strasbourg in the East of France, Sylvain was always attracted by Dance Music. He starts with the classic Euro Dance in 90's and then moved to House, Dream, Techno and Hard Trance.

He starts mixing in 1997 with his first turntables and did his first liveset as DJ SKY for private parties and played some Hard Stuff which took his friends attention.

In 1998, Sylvain discovered the French Radio Station "Contact FM" with a daily radio show hosted by a famous French DJ back then: DJ Vince. He played some quiet stuff, from progressive to ambient and sometimes trance in a non-stop mix very well build up. Thanks to him, Sylvain was introduced to the wonderful sound of BT, Sasha, Nalin & Kane... and completely changed his musical orientation!

Since then, he starts mixing this new kind of music, quite cool, progressive and increases his technique to reach the perfect mix in order to be able to blow listeners minds.

But this kind of sound is more for relaxing than dancing and Sylvain discovered a brand new style: The Euphoric Trance with artists like Matt Darey, Ferry Corsten, Push (M.I.K.E), Tiësto...

He adapted his way of mixing and up the tempo to build up mixes from progressive to euphoric trance.

Then a new technique appears for mixing thanks to Software as Virtual DJ. As a pioneer, he tried to mix with Virtual DJ at friends' home and where there are no turntable and mixing table to play his sound. He increases a lot thanks to that new way of mixing but as a "purist" he always prefers playing vinyl and mixing with real tools and then, buy some professional gears.

In 2003 he met Stéphane who was filled with wonder when he discovered all you can do with a PC and a mixing software. Sylvain showed him the basics and taught him how to build up a set and since then, they always play together at parties.

As a Trance fan, Sylvain went to his first Event in 2003, the glorious year, to see Tiësto and Paul Van Dyk in Berlin during the Love From Above right before the Love Parade. He was so amazed to discover a party where the music played is good and correspond to what he listen, the sound so loud than you can feel it in your chest and he realised that something was happening in his life: he became a real clubber!

The next year, he went to London for his studies for almost 6 months where he learned English and Marketing. He had the chance to live near the famous Club Turnmills and saw there the best DJ in The world: Armin Van Buuren, Marco V, John Askew...

But 6 month goes fast in London and Sylvain has to go back in France and clubbing is missing. He went back to the Love From Above and see this time Nu NRG for the greatest Live act he ever seen, Tiësto for a great DJ Set and Paul Van Dyk to finish. It was certainly the party when Sylvain get the highest of his life... Then he went with his friend Stéphane to the Dance Valley to see for the first time Markus Schulz right before the amazing 6 hours set of Armin van Buuren. That party was the best he did and since then his dream is to organise this kind of event in his country: France!

But there is a long way, Trance Music is a non-stop moving style unknown in France and change every year to be better and now DJ have to be perfect to bring the crowd on a magical journey. The sound is the most important thing to control to keep his audience ears safe and Sylvain starts to work on it since 2005 when he build his own sound system and organised several local events.

In 2006, he met Fred thanks to an Internet Forum. He invites him to mix with him and he was impressed by the potential of the young 19 years old DJ who learn all by himself as Sylvain. They share the same passion for Trance Music and have the same influences. They went to a lots of Events and there highlight is without any doubt Armin Only in 2006. The best Sound System they never heard, great show, awesome party!!

But back to work, our goal his to be able to do that one day and Sylvain realise that he his able to do it but not alone.
That's why, after listening to Trance Music for ages, visiting the best clubs in the world and sees the best DJs, he realised what is capable, choose the scene name of S-KAPE and starts his own label Eternal Music with his friends Fred and Stéphane to introduce Trance Music in France.

Strong with an experience of almost 10 years in the Trance Mix, S-KAPE is able to mix on every venue and play always from progressive to trance to bring his audience to a wonderful journey into sound with his unique style.

He also starts his producer career with his friend Fred Mochel and plan to release their first EP in 2008 on Eternal Music.
