Born in 1987 Raphael grew up in his hometown Dortmund, right in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia.

While being fortunate getting a classical music education since he was young, he began to concern after a few years - influenced by his friends - with electronic music.

Fascinated about that incredible energy and emotions going out especially from trance productions and sets by artists like Ferry Corsten and Tiësto he decided to start his own business, making his first tracks by himself.

Learning very fast with the help of a friend he became more skilled and advanced musically and qualitatively to a higher level.

After a few releases under different synonyms he started now to release tracks under the artist name Raphael Ocaso.
At the beginning of 2009 there will be some remixes from him on different labels and his debut single will be also released!

We are all looking forward how this story will continue...

“Transistic Records was set up in May 2008 by Alan Morris and a bunch of electronic music enthusiasts. The main focus of the label is to release high quality tracks, carrying the emotion and energy of trance music. Giving young trance talents the opportunity to introduce themselves to a huge audience is the aspiration of the entire team around Transistic.”

Some of the DJs who supported earlier productions from artists on the label are Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Woody van Eyden, Activa, Matt Darey, Carl B, Marcos, John O´Callaghan, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Jochen Miller, Conor Arkins, Mark Eteson, John Askew, Sied van Riel, Sebastian Brandt, Talla 2XLC, DJ Shah & Pedro del Mar... to mention a few. Lots of them and many more supported the very first release on Transistic („Alan Morris – Pegasus“) without hesitation – and sent awesome & encouraging feedbacks.

We are all looking forward to deliver you lots of brilliant productions in the next time – the first release was nothing but a beginning demanding for continuity..."
