Phil Parry comes from the West Midlands in the United Kingdom and was born on the 21st February 1980. He first got into dance music after hearing tracks on Radio 1 on shows called The Essential Selection and The Essential Mix during 95/96, and then bought some turntables and started buying vinyl in 1997. Favourite labels back then were Hooj Choons, Platipus and Perfecto.
Over the years he had a couple of local gigs but mainly it was just thought of as a hobby and didnt really want to try and take it too seriously. Phil sold off his vinyls and equipment in 2005 and decided to give up djing and be happy with the music from being a clubber.
Then at start of 2009 Phil had started to think about getting back into the scene again and this time giving it hard work and commitment, and also it would please his friends who kept telling him for a few years that he should not of stopped doing it. Looking at how the whole scene had progessed in the digital age and after a trip to A State of Trance 400 at Godskitchen in the United Kingdom, Phil decided to get back to mixing and the rest of 2009 was putting out promo mixes and advertising on various trance forums and also via Facebook/Myspace. His style is fast paced trance like Sean Tyas, Daniel Kandi, Simon Patterson and Aly & Fila.
Phil is happy to join the Trancesonic.FM family as he is a regular listener. He is hoping for a busy 2010 and aims to put time into production as well as giving the Trancesonic.FM listeners a good show.
