Born in Holland (1982) Maarten got his passion for dance music at the age of 10. Listening 'Turn up the Bass' compilations, gave him the inspiration to produce music on his Amiga 500 with tracker software. At the age of 15 Maarten got his first turntable from that moment Maartens live was all about producing and playing gigs.
Maarten’s unique sound can’t be defined in one music style. It’s his own creation that already made a statement in the International music scene.

Like Mono which resulted in a no.1 @ Beatport.com. Massive, his first track, got big time support by all the leading suspects. And his latest track ID is also a big time floor filler, which gained support by Dave Dresden, Ferry Corsten, Marco V and all the other worlds leading Dj’s.

With remixes for Ronski Speed, Talla 2 xlc, Cor Fijneman, David Forbes, Rapid Eye and not to forget his bootleg of ‘Perpetuous Dreamer - The Sound of Goodbye’ which Armin van Buuren gave full support in his ‘Imagine 2008 worldtour’! Maarten showed the world what he’s capable off! In his monthly radio show ‘Solid Sessions’, Maarten combines his sound in a very energetic mix, which has it’s own different style every month. It also gives him the opportunity to experiment with his own new tracks and reach al lot of people all over the world. Every month ‘Solid Sessions’ is broadcasted by several radio stations worldwide.

When he plays as a Dj, every gig is unique. Like Maarten always says: “Every day is a different day!”. Electro, techno, minimal or trance, he plays them all in his own mind blowing mix. Whether he plays in a local club or a major gig, it has always written Maarten de Jong all over it!!!
