Thread: Leon Bolier presents Streamlined - Buenos Aires 2009 compilation

TRANCESONIC.FM prominent resident, Leon Bolier, has finished working on his new compilation album ‘Streamlined’, which will see the daylight on June the 15th. The double CD, released under Dutch Spinnin’ Records may well follow the path of Leon’s successful debut album ‘Pictures’.

The title for the compilation was inspired by Leon’s South American tour in March, where Leon filled up every club he performed in. He said: ‘The warmth and enthusiasm that the people attending my gigs showed combined with everything that happened over the past year made me want to release my first solo DJ compilation album, showcasing a deeper sound on the first CD and a more uplifting festival vibe on the second one. I was working on the track list for this CD while I was in Buenos Aires, spending some time between gigs in Latin America. I had an amazing time there, therefore I would like to dedicate this CD to Buenos Aires.’

As with ‘Pictures’, released in 2008, ‘Streamlined’ also brings a range of new music from fellow Dutch electronic music talents. Apart from traditionally appearing beside Leon Cliff Coenraad and Joop, you’ll be also able to hear Jan Oostdyk in his smashing Out Of The Box. Some worldwide known figures as well, as both Breakfast, Marcus Schossow and Airbase appear in their new tracks. All this is completed by Leon Bolier’s unique sounds, few of them already known from ‘Pictures’ but look out for the new collaboration with Menno de Jong, ‘Last Light Tonight’, which opens Disc 2. This is not the first time these two gentlemen join their forces and the effects have so far been electrifying.
